“The road to recovery is long…
but it has my name on it.”

“I have more confidence…
I feel successful.”

At Transitional Resources, we believe that all people, including those living with serious mental illness, deserve to lead a safe and meaningful life.

We provide a continuum of behavioral health services, permanent, affordable housing, and a community of support to help people achieve better health and the dignity that all people deserve.

Our Mission

Respecting Autonomy, Dignity, Integrity, and Recovery

Transitional Resources’ mission is building better health, stable housing, and a community of support for people living with mental illness.

Our Values

Respect, dignity, and autonomy

We value the same things that those with mental illness do:

  • A safe place to call home
  • Feeling needed and wanted
  • Being part of an inclusive and diverse community
  • Working and engaging in meaningful activities, and
  • Having hope through a highly personalized path to recovery

Who we are

Transitional Resources is a licensed behavioral health center and assisted living facility that has been serving King County since 1976. We offer a full spectrum of optimistic, respectful, and personalized mental health services and supportive housing services to our clients.

What we do

At Transitional Resources, our work helps low-income adults in King County living with serious and persistent mental illness who are homeless, incarcerated, or hospitalized make a successful transition into stable living in the community.

Support our work

If you share our belief that all people—including those with serious mental illness—deserve to have decent housing, to feel needed and wanted, to engage in meaningful activities, and to be a part of community, then please consider supporting our work.
